As you probably already know, healthy smoothies are the bee’s knees lately. Did you know there is so much more to your perfectly blended delicious fruit drink?
Healthy smoothies have tons of benefits. Based on the ingredients that you use, they can help you build muscle, detox, and lose weight! (Yaaaaas!)
The internet is full of so many different smoothie combinations. I’ve tried only about a handful. Below are some of my favorites!

Healthy Smoothie Recipes
1. Coffee Lovers Smoothie
You know the saying, ” But first, Coffee!” If you are like so many of us who NEED coffee in the morning to function, this healthy smoothie is perfect for you.
- 3.4 Cup of unsweetened almond milk
- One frozen banana
- A scoop of vanilla or chocolate protein powder
- 1 cup cold brewed coffee
- 2 cups ice
2. Skinny Fruitless Sweet Potato Pie Smoothie
Wait, wait, wait. I can make sweet potato smoothies?! Sweet potato smoothie is a game-changer!! Everyone better step their game up.

3. Orange Creamsicle Smoothie
When I think of an orange creamsicle, I am taken back to summers as a child. Try out this Orange Creamsicle healthy smoothie and tell me where it takes you!
- 1/2 medium banana
- 1/2 cup of orange juice
- 1/3 cup of low-fat Greek yogurt.
4. Tropical Bliss smoothie
Ok, this smoothie is sooooo good. Pineapples AND strawberries?! Yum.
- One large banana (ripe works best)
- 1 cup of frozen pineapple
- 3/4 of your favorite kind of milk. (Mine is almond)
- One cup of strawberries
- sweetener for taste.
5. Blueberry Kale Smoothie
I have a confession to make; I am NOT a fan of Kale. (Props to you, if you are) However, I do know it is a common trend to put Kale in smoothies. I’ve personally never tried a healthy smoothie that had kale in it. Until we found this surprisingly delicious healthy smoothie recipe at thegirlinspired.com. - 1/2 C. fresh or frozen blueberries
- 6 oz. plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 C. almond milk, coconut milk, or milk
- One ripe banana (the riper, the sweeter)
- 1-2 C. fresh kale or spinach
- One packet of Stevia sweetener (optional)
6. Coconut Almond Smoothie
At around 27 grams of muscle-building protein, you better believe this healthy smoothie will have you getting all kinds of booty gains.
- One scoop of chocolate protein powder
- 1 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
- A cup Silk Almond milk, dark chocolate
- One rounded tbsp almond butter
- 1½ cups water
- Three ice cubes
7. Vanilla matcha avocado smoothie
Well, this is different. But here at Attack on Fat Loss, we are all about trying new things. This healthy smoothie recipe is courtesy of the fantastic people at thefullhelping.com. Perfect for vegans, this healthy smoothie recipe calls for either rice or pea protein. Although our non-vegan friends can substitute the vegan protein powder with vanilla whey protein.
- ½-1 teaspoon matcha powder (to taste–take it easy if you’re sensitive to caffeine!)
- 1 cup almond milk
- ½ small avocado
- One scoop vegan vanilla protein powder
- Two ice cubes
8. Cool n’ Creamy Cantaloupe Smoothie
We found this recipe at eatliverun.com. Although we aren’t big fans of cantaloupe, since it only requires three ingredients, we decided to give it a try. To our surprise, it was delicious. Greek yogurt gives you a good amount of protein, and you can never go wrong with honey.
- One cantaloupe seeded scooped out and roughly chopped
- 1 cup 2% Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 cup ice
9. Vanilla Pumpkin Pie Shake
This protein smoothie comes courtesy of menshealth.com. This delicious smoothie contains 4 of our favorite superfoods: Oats, Flaxseed, walnuts, and if so you choose, Greek yogurt.
Macros: 535 calories, 60 grams of protein, 13 grams of fat, 45 grams of carbs, and 13 grams of fiber (These macros account for using water rather than milk or Greek yogurt).
- 12 oz water, milk, or yogurt
- Two scoops vanilla flavored protein powder
- ¾ cup of pureed pumpkin
- 1 tbsp of walnuts
- 1 tbsp of ground flax
- ½ cup of uncooked oats
- Cinnamon and vanilla extract to taste
- Ice as needed
10. Piña Colada Protein Smoothie
Piña coladas are delicious. But not very good for you. Especially if you pour almost half of a bottle of rum into a single serving. Thank God the people at Delish.com came up with this muscle-building, fat-burning version of my native island’s classic drink of choice. Don’t forget to put a Lil umbrella on your drink.
11. Raspberry Sunrise Smoothie
One of our new favorite smoothies!
12. Keto Smoothie
This smoothie is excellent for those on a keto diet. Made with low carb-high fiber fruits, coconut milk, and Unsweetened shaved coconut.
13. Delwin’s Muscle Building Tropical Paradise
- 1 cup of pineapple
- .5 cup of blueberries
- 1 cup of strawberries
- One cutie (mandarin orange)
- 2 Tbsp sweetened coconut flakes
- One scoop vanilla flavored whey
Macros: 505 calories, 7 grams of fat 75 grams of carbs, 7 grams of fiber, and 26 grams of protein.
** You can substitute sweetened coconut flakes for unsweetened flakes.
14. Strawberry Orange Smoothie
Are strawberries a staple when it comes to smoothies? I sure believe so!
15. Easy Pineapple Smoothie
We love this pineapple smoothie even though it has the devil’s fruit…bananas. But, the coconut milk takes me back to my childhood in Puerto Rico. Also, if you want a little bit more protein, you can add a scoop of vanilla protein powder and call it a day.
Macros: 275 calories, 14 grams of fat, 38 grams of carbs, 4 grams of fiber, and 2 grams of protein.
16. Healthy Carrot Cake Smoothie
Did someone say cake? If you are into meal replacement smoothies, you need to try this carrot cake smoothie. I mean, it’s freaking carrot cake! What’s great about this smoothie is that it is high protein and high in fiber—Guaranteeing to keep you full for a few hours.
Macros: 478 calories, 18 grams of fat, 58 grams of carbs, 15 grams of fiber, and 28 grams of protein.
17. Creamy Zucchini Blueberry Smoothie
Who would had thought a zucchini, spinach, and celery smoothie would taste this good! This smoothie is an odd one, but it sure was delicious!
So, if you’re looking for something new, give this delicious smoothie a try. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
Macros: 218 calories, 10 grams of fat, 32 grams of carbs, 5 grams of fiber, and 6 grams of protein.
There are so many different combinations you can create when it comes to a healthy smoothie.
The critical thing here is to track your macros. You don’t want to go ham on the peanut butter and blow your macro goals. lol ( Although I am guilty of being heavy-handed on the PB since come on…It’s PEANUT BUTTER <3. )
